NEW FILMS FRIDAY

INKHEART — ★★ — Whatever magic there was on this shoot is probably in the home movies. Brendan Fraser stars. Running time: 100 minutes, PG (violence, profanity) — Roger Moore, The Orlando Sentinel

NOT EASILY BROKEN — ★★ — A marriage-in-crisis melodrama baked from the Tyler Perry recipe. Morris Chestnut stars. Running time: 96 minutes, PG-13 (vulgarity, profanity, adult themes) — Roger Moore, The Orlando Sentinel

REVOLUTIONARY ROAD — ★★★½ — The performances are strong enough to make this bleak drama more than watchable. Kate Winslet stars. Running time: 117 minutes, R (profanity, sex, brief nudity, vulgarity, slurs, brief gore)

UNDERWORLD: RISE OF THE LYCANS — A prequel film that explains the centuries-old rivalry between werewolf and vampire clans. To be reviewed next week, running time: 92 minutes, R (violence, gore, sex)

RERELEASES

THE DARK KNIGHT — ★★★★ — As much a morality thriller and a gangster epic as it is a comic book action/adventure, this thrilling Bat-tale is definitely not for young ones. Running time: 152 minutes, PG-13 (violence, torture, drugs, profanity, brief gore, slurs, vulgarity)
