MURRAY Two men robbed a local Rite Aid pharmacy Wednesday night, police said.
A call came in just after 10 p.m. at the store, 5540 S. 900 East, saying that two men came into the store, walked to the back near the pharmacy and pointed a small black handgun at the person working in the pharmacy. They demanded OxyContin and cash.
Murray Police Sgt. Kim Rees said they ended up getting an undetermined amount of both. However, they did drop several bottles of the prescription painkiller on their way out of the store.
No one was injured during the robbery.
