SALINA, Sevier County The Utah Highway Patrol made a $150,000 drug bust here.
Troopers stopped an SUV on I-70 for an equipment violation on Jan. 8. Under questioning, troopers said the Wisconsin couple driving the 2001 Mitsubishi Montero were "unbelievable," and troopers found other indications of illegal activity.
A search of the vehicle found a compartment in the floor of the vehicle where the UHP said a K-9 found 21 kilograms of cocaine with a street value of up to $150,000. The couple was booked into the Sevier County Jail.
