LEHI Drivers ran into a rocky section of road near Lehi on Friday afternoon after a dump truck lost part of its gravel load.
Before 1 p.m., a truck traveling south on I-15 somehow dumped its contents on the freeway, said Utah Highway Patrol Trooper Cameron Roden.
The large rocks and gravel spilled across nearly all lanes of traffic but especially on the onramp, which was temporarily closed while the Department of Transportation cleaned up the mess, Roden said.
The driver of the truck was stopped, although officials don't know yet if they'll be citing him, Roden said.
No accidents were reported as a result of the spill, Roden said.
