Hudson miracle:  \"Brace for a Landing: Miraculous Rescue in New Jersey Tonight\" relives Thursday's amazing airplane rescue and provides spiritual ponderings:  \"let us be grateful for those miracles that do occur, and for the brave men and women who worked together … those rescued have reason to view life in an entirely new way as they look up to heaven and wonder why they were given this second chance.\"

Gracious loser: Yesterday I mentioned that c jane had won the 2008 Weblog Award for Best Major Blog, and now  \"It's Official and an Official Letter to Autoblog\" is absolutely delightful to read. And then, for another treat, click over  to \"Autoblog's Concession Speech\" where they explain that they donated to the Nie Recovery effort \"not because we share Courtney's faith, which we don't, or because want to score brownie points with whichever deity is running the big show, but because we're all in this giant blogosphere together and believe the online community has the power to do good for real people when the opportunity presents itself.\" Wow!!!

Top Mormon: The Mormon of the Year theme continues at Times and Seasons with \"Who Should Have Been Mormon of the Year, 1970-1989.\" The illustrious list includes such names as The Osmond Brothers for 1971, Dale Murphy in 1983 and Sharlene Wells in 1985. Do you agree? Click to add your opinion!

Friday fun:  \"Your Mission Exit in a Nutshell\" is both a clever title for this advertisement from a 1965 Improvement Era as well as a wink at Mormon culture. Enjoy!
