WOMEN'S BASKETBALL: UVU will play its next five games at home in the McKay Center beginning with rival Southern Utah on today at 7 p.m. The Wolverines (6-8) are led by Robyn Fairbanks' 24.3 points per game, good enough to put her second in the country in scoring. Julie McMurray is also among the national leaders (18th) with a 20.1 average and Asumi Nakayama ranks 14th in assists at 5.9 per game.

UVU lost a 57-56 heartbreaker on Saturday at Texas-Pan American. The Wolverines came back from an 18-point half time deficit to take the lead with 43 seconds left but Aleeya Grigsby's put back with 23 seconds to go ended up as the game-winner.

Utah Valley University will host in-state foe Weber State on Jan. 27 at 7 p.m. in the WBCA Pink Zone game to raise awareness for breast cancer. The game will also be a part of the NCAA Pack the House Challenge, pitting UVU against other independent schools in an attendance contest.
