PROVO — The BYU women's basketball team puts its nine-game winning streak, and unbeaten conference record, on the line tonight when it visits TCU.

The Horned Frogs, who were ranked earlier this season, also are undefeated in Mountain West Conference play, having just come off of an impressive 66-61 victory at UNLV last Saturday. TCU's 18-point first half lead all but disappeared in the final minute, but the Frogs held on to earn the win.

TCU forward Helene Sverrisdotir averages a team-high 16.6 points and 6.8 rebounds, while guard TK LaFleur averages 15.6 points per game and Forward Rachel Rentschler averages 10.

BYU fell to TCU twice last season, including a 73-54 setback at Fort Worth.

For the Cougars, tonight's game is part of a stretch of three games in seven days. They defeated Colorado State in their conference-opener last Saturday, 61-43, as forward Shawnee Slade led the way with 16 points.

BYU hosts New Mexico on Saturday.
