Obama's plans will fail

I disagree with your headline "Obama calls for bold economic moves" (Jan. 9). I listened to him on Thursday and he sounded a lot like Hitler promising a VW to everyone. If he really wanted to see the economy grow he would give tax credits and incentives to businesses so they can create jobs that will be long-lasting. The $1,000 sent to those who may not pay income tax will not keep the economy moving. The rebate checks that were sent did nothing to the economy. The bailouts to the banking institutions have not helped. The plan that he has proposed will be a bust.
