Are you interested in learning more about gardening? Then become a master gardener volunteer.
The 2009 Master Gardener Program will start Jan. 21.
Classes are held twice a week on Wednesday and Friday mornings, 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Davis County Memorial Courthouse in Farmington. Classes are ongoing for a 10-week period.
This program also includes 40 hours of mandatory volunteer hours. Volunteer time includes projects at the Utah Botanical Center and Utah House in Kaysville, demonstration gardens, Davis County Fair and plant diagnostic clinics.
The cost of the program is $150.
Registration forms are available at the Extension office or call Stacie at 801-451-3403 to have one mailed to you. Registration will continue until the class fills, but space is limited.
