We were appalled to read of our government's treatment of Rabeh Morad. Interpreters are vital to the mission of our men and women in Iraq and often become indeed "dear friends." They face the same terrible risks as our troops there, and the vengeance of Iraqi enemies as well.

We wanted to help this man's family but couldn't for fear of retaliation against them. We were glad to help Rabeh Morad by sending a contribution to: Rabeh al Khafagi donation account, Zion's Bank, 5595 S. State St., Murray, UT 84107: Attention: Mike Jaroscak
