Dance auditions

Ogden's Imagine Ballet Theatre, directed by former Ballet West principal dancer Raymond Van Mason, will hold auditions for its 2009 peformance season and for the company's 2009 Summer Dance Intensive program on Saturday, Jan. 17.

Auditions will be held in Peery's Egyptian Theate dance studio, 2415 Washington Blvd., in Ogden. Dancers interested in the summer intensive program must be at least 8 years old. Dancers auditioning to join IBT must be at least 9 years old.

Registration for dancers ages 8 to 12 years old is 9-10 a.m., with auditions beginning at 10 a.m.

Dancers ages 13 and older will register at 11:30 a.m.-noon, with auditions beginning at noon.

Girls must come dressed to dance in a black leotard, pink tights and ballet shoes. If the dancer is on pointe, she must bring pointe shoes.

Boys must be dressed in a white T-shirt, black tights and ballet shoes.

All dancers must bring a resume and a photo

There will be a nonrefundable audition fee of $20.
