With something for almost everybody — and lots of things for lots of us — Sundance 2009 looks like a very promising festival.
Here's hoping we'll "see you at the movies!"
Inauguration Celebration planned in Park City
When President-elect Barack Obama takes office on Jan. 20, the Sundance Film Festival will be in full swing. And to celebrate, festival attendees and the public are invited to an Inauguration Celebration at the Sidecar Club, 333 Main in Park City.
The event begins at 7:30 p.m., and all attendees must be at least 21 years old.
Top recording artist Art Alexakis of Everclear, Los Angeles-based independent band Radius and Universal Republic hip-hop artist Kevin Rudolf will perform.
Tickets, which are limited to 250, are $50 and can be purchased online at www.actblue.com. A portion of the proceeds will benefit the Summit County Democrats.
