Utah's All-America kicker Louie Sakoda has accepted an invitation to participate in the Under Armour Senior Bowl, scheduled Jan. 24 in Mobile, Ala.

He will handle the place kicking for the North squad.

The 60th-annual Senior Bowl will start at 5 p.m. MST in Ladd-Peebles Stadium and will be televised by the NFL Network.

Sakoda became Utah's first unanimous Consensus All-American this season, and is also the first Ute to win All-America honors at two positions. He earned first-team kicking honors from the Associated Press, American Football Coaches Association (AFCA), Walter Camp Foundation, Football Writers Association of America (FWAA) and the Sporting News this year, and was a first-team All-America punter by the FWAA in 2007.
