ST. GEORGE, Utah — Washington County officials have postponed a search for an Ivins woman who went missing last week.

Officials say rescue workers searching the Red Mountain area were facing harsh conditions after snow started falling Monday. County Director of Emergency Services Dean Cox says searchers will re-evaluate the situation at the weekend.

Ann Gilbreath was last seen Thursday. Gilbreath's family says the 44-year-old woman has a history of mental illness that may be related to her disappearance.

Cox says there have been no solid clues since rescue workers found what are believed to be Gilbreath's coat and scarf and a set of footprints on Friday. Another set of footprints was found Sunday, but Cox says there were of little help.

Ivins is 10 miles northwest of St. George.
