The Davis Applied Technology College will be hosting eight new accounting specialty programs, focusing on skills deemed important for current industry.

Each program has an emphasis on QuickBooks software to manage key business functions that apply to most small businesses. The courses are meant to train students as specialists in each area.

Several courses, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll management and bookkeeping, have already started with the January term. Others, including inventory and purchasing management, will start in April.

Students can enroll in more than one course to meet their personal career goals. More information can be found online at datc.edu.
