GENOLA — An early morning car accident killed one person and sent three to the hospital.
Police say a driver ran a stop sign and plowed into another car around 7 a.m. at 800 East and state Route 141 in Genola.
Jose Guadalupe Almanza, 36, who ran the stop sign, died at the scene, police said.
Officers reported that three others were flown to hospitals, two to Salt Lake hospitals and one to a Utah County hospital. Police are still investigating the crash.
