U.S. Bank will host job fair at Thanksgiving Point hotel

U.S. Bank said Wednesday that it will host a job fair from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Spring Hill Marriott at Thanksgiving Point, 2447 W. Executive Parkway, Lehi.

The company said the event is designed to attract potential employees for the 80 new jobs the bank will have available in the Salt Lake City metropolitan area once it opens inside area Smith's Food & Drugs Stores in February.

Informal interviews will take place at the job fair. Those who cannot make the event may apply for a job at the U.S. Bank's Web site, www.usbank.com/careers.

U.S. Bank said in September it would assume leases of 40 full-service, in-store banking locations inside Smith's stores. It will add 21 new Smith's branch locations in Utah and 28 in Nevada. It currently has 45 branches in Utah and 60 in Nevada. When the expansion is complete, U.S. Bank will have more than 600 in-store branches in 19 states.
