Did you get some cash for Christmas? If you don't want it to burn that proverbial hole in your pocket, or purse, here's a variety of movie and TV series DVDs that were released in 2008.

If you look around, you can probably find the set at a reduced rate online.

"The Adventures of Ozzie & Harriet, Best of Ricky and Dave" (Shout Factory, 4 discs, not rated, $34.99): Aging baby boomers were just kids when the now classic TV show of Ozzie and Harriet Nelson began in the 1950s. For 14 seasons Ozzie, always portraying the bumbling Pop, and his wiser wife Harriet led their boys, David and Ricky, through life's trials. America watched the Nelson boys grow up before their eyes.

Rather than showing the episodes from one season, the boxed set covers all 14 seasons by choosing individual episodes that focus on the boys.

Ozzie used his TV fame and show to propel Ricky's singing career. The real bonus on this set are the 12 performances by Ricky. Included are classic "Fools Rush In" and "Hello Mary Lou."

"The Bourne Trilogy" (Universal, rated Pg-13, $34.98): This no-frills box set features the non-stop action of CIA assassin Jason Bourne (Matt Damon) who suffers from amnesia. In the three movies, "The Bourne Identity," "The Bourne Supremacy" and "The Bourne Ultimatum," Bourne travels the globe searching for clues about his identity and past. The three have been packaged together before, but this one is affordable. And if you forgot some of the many plot twists while waiting for the next installment of the original movies, a Bourne mini-marathon can help you keep it all straight.

"Dale Earnhardt, 10 Greatest Wins" (A&E Home Videos, 5 discs, 7 hours, 30 minutes, $39.95): In his black No. 3 Chevrolet, Earnhardt drove into racing history and helped define NASCAR. This collection provides the racing fan with Earnhardt's greatest triumphs, from the 1984 Talladega 500 (his first win in No. 3) to his final victory in the 2000 Winston 500 where he moved from 18th to first place in three laps in his final victory.

A bonus is the exclusive footage of the induction of his father, Ralph, into the International Motorsports Hall of Fame in 1997. There is also footage of Earnhardt's induction in 2006.

"The Muppet Show: The Complete Third Season" (Buena Vista Home Entertainment, 4 discs, rated G-TV, 612 minutes, $39.99): Digitally remastered, this is the Muppets at their best with all 24 episodes from the third season in 1978-79.
