Jerry Elison has staged about 80 productions in the 50 years he has been directing plays and musicals. Even though he is 78 years old, he still finds energy to continue his favorite work.
"I have enjoyed drama all my life," said Elison. "Even as a child I loved plays. I wrote many of my own. I would write them, and then get the kids at school to act them out at recess. In the summer I got the neighbor kids to perform them on the lawn."
