1. Provo (5-0) Class: 4A

Was: 1. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Bulldogs are clearly the best team in Utah, and they'll be on display against some other top teams in Hawaii this weekend. Next up: vs. TBA at Maui Tournament, Thursday.

2. West Jordan (5-0) Class: 5A

Was: 2. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Jaguars host three quality teams this week, beginning with undefeated Skyline today. Next up: vs. Skyline, today.

3. Bingham (4-0) Class: 5A

Was: 3. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Miners play their last game tonight before heading to San Diego for a post-Christmas tournament. Next up: vs. Davis, today.

4. Lone Peak (3-1) Class: 5A

Was: 4. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: Should breeze through this week in final tune-ups prior to big tournament in Arizona after Christmas. Next up: vs. Alta, today.

5. Lehi (4-1) Class: 5A

Was: 6. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: Showdown against undefeated Riverton will go along way toward proving its legitimacy in statewide picture. Next up: vs. Riverton at Jordan, Friday.

6. Skyline (5-0) Class: 5A

Was: 8. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Eagles haven't faced a team in the current top 20, but that changes tonight with a visit to West Jordan. Next up: at West Jordan, today.

7. Pl. Grove (3-2) Class: 5A

Was: 5. Last week: 1-1. Outlook: Its only two losses are to No. 1 Provo and No. 2 West Jordan, but they're proof that the Vikings aren't quite clicking yet. Next up: at Riverton, today.

8. Orem (4-0) Class: 4A

Was: 7. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: Have won all four games by double-digits so far this year. Next up: vs. Pine View at Dixie College, Thursday.

9. Riverton (5-0) Class: 5A

Was: 9. Last week 2-0. Outlook: The 'Wolves face their first true test of the season against visiting Pleasant Grove this week. Next up: vs. Pleasant Grove, today.

10. Jordan (4-1) Class: 5A

Was: 10. Last week: 1-1. Outlook: Despite losing to Bingham last week, the 'Diggers are much improved this year. Next up: vs. Granger, Friday.

11. Bountiful (2-2) Class: 4A

Was: 12. Last week: 1-0. Outlook: The Braves should only get better as year wears on following learning-experience losses to Lone Peak and Bingham. Next up: vs. Judge, today.

12. Timpview (4-1) Class: 4A

Was: 13. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: Balanced scoring has helped the T-Birds get out to a great start. Next up: vs. Snow Canyon at Dixie College, Thursday.

13. Olympus (2-1) Class: 4A

Was: 14. Last week: 2-0. Outlook: The Titans will find out a lot about themselves this week with games against Alta and Skyline. Next up: at Alta, Wednesday.

14. Alta (2-0) Class: 5A
