Vivaldi concert is Saturday at church

The 26th Vivaldi by Candlelight Benefit Concert will be Saturday at 8 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 12 S. Temple and C Street. Reserved seating tickets are available for $40. Call 832-3270 for more information.

8th Lehi Interfaith Celebration tonight

The eighth Lehi Interfaith Celebration of the Birth of Jesus will be Saturday, 5-9 p.m., at the Lehi LDS Stake Center, 200 N. Center. There will be creche displays, a live outdoor nativity pageant, art exhibit, indoor music program and more. The event is free and open to the public. It will also include a chance for those who attend to donate food to the needy.

'Christmas Star' Sunday at church

"The Christmas Star" will be presented Sunday, Dec. 14, at 2 p.m. in the Sanctuary at Christ United Methodist Church, 2375 E. 3300 South, Salt Lake City. Poems, stories and music will be presented by the children of the church. There will be a Christmas party afterward, sponsored by the Fellowship Council. For more information, call 486-5473.

Wesley Bell Ringers sets concerts

The Wesley Bell Ringers handbell choir will deliver a unique sound of the season during its 2008 Christmas Tour. This is the choir's 45th year of delivering holiday music by blending the joyous sounds of handbells, chimes and percussion instruments. 'Christmas Carol Service' planned

A "Christmas Carol Service" will be presented three times by the choir of the Cathedral of the Madeleine and choristers of the Madeleine Choir School at the Cathedral, 331 E. South Temple. Performances will be Monday, Dec. 15, 8 p.m.; Tuesday, Dec. 16, 8 p.m.; and Wednesday, Dec. 24, 4 p.m. "A Ceremony of Carols" will be presented on Friday, Dec. 19, 12:15 p.m. and again on Monday, Dec. 22, 12:15 p.m. For more information, call 944-4663.
