Tickets for the University of Utah football team's Sugar Bowl matchup on Jan. 2 against Alabama will go on sale to the general public on Friday morning.
Beginning at 10 a.m. Friday, tickets may be purchased online at utahutes.com, by phone (801-581-UTIX) or at the Rice-Eccles Stadium ticket office.
"We're encouraged by the sales we've had so far from season-ticket holders and the Crimson Club," said Utah's director of ticket sales, Zack Lassiter, "and we're opening up for public sale tomorrow at 10 a.m. We expect to have a heavy demand for tickets and hope to sell our allotment. I'll have a better idea of exact numbers on Monday."
The undefeated, seventh-ranked Utes (12-0) and fourth-ranked Crimson Tide (12-1) will tangle on Jan. 2 at 6 p.m. at the Louisiana Superdome in New Orleans.
