The following DVDs will be released Tuesday, unless otherwise noted:
• "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog" (Mutant Enemy, $14.99) Musical spoof, originally produced for the Internet, starring Neil Patrick Harris as a revenge-minded supervillain.
Special features: Making-of mini-documentary, "Evil League of Evil" application videos.
Not rated, probable PG-13 (violence, vulgarity, profanity)
• "The House Bunny" (Sony, $29.96) ** This dumb comedy about a Playboy Bunny is what you get when you allow males to make a supposed "girl-power" movie. (To be released Dec. 19.)
PG-13 (vulgarity, profanity, slapstick violence, slurs, brief partial nudity)
• "Mamma Mia! The Movie" (Universal, $29.98) *** Pierce Brosnan's a sour note, but Meryl Streep is terrific, and this enjoyable songfest should appeal to audiences.
Special features: Two-disc special edition ($34.98) includes deleted song, behind-the-scenes mini-documentary, "sing-along" option, digital copy of the movie for PCs.
PG-13 (vulgarity, profanity, brief drugs, slurs, brief partial nudity)
• "Marcus: Second to None" (Black Hawk, $20) Comedy concert film featuring the Utah comedian, who was this year's runner-up on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" reality-television competition.
Special features: Behind-the-scenes footage, outtakes.
Not rated, probable PG-13 (profanity, vulgarity)
• "The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor" (Universal, $29.98) ** A half-hearted "medley" of other summer movies that exists simply to cash in on the success of the earlier "Mummy" films.
Special features: Two-disc special edition ($34.98) includes behind-the-scenes mini-documentaries, extended and deleted scenes, digital copy of the movie for PCs.
PG-13 (violence, vulgarity, profanity, brief gore, brief sex, brief drugs, nude artwork)
• "Pirates of the Great Salt Lake" (Weinstein, $19.95) Locally produced comedy starring Kirby Heyborne and Trenton James as would-be, modern-day pirates. (Released Dec. 9.)
