PROVO — The buttons that serve as tickets to Provo's annual First Night celebration are now on sale.

First Night Provo 2009 will be held New Year's Eve from 6 p.m. to midnight inside the Provo Towne Centre. Buttons may be purchased at the Provo Parks and Recreation Department, 351 W. Center, and the Provo Towne Center customer service desk, 1200 Towne Centre Blvd.

The buttons cost $4 for adults 13 and over and $3 for children 12 and under. Children 3 and under are free. Prices rise $1 on Dec. 31.

This is the third time the mall will host First Night indoors. The 2009 theme is "Party Under the Big Top" and activities include children's crafts, carnival games, a virtual Wii circus, balloon twisters, photo booth, eating contest, dances, a karaoke singing competition, First Night Star and live entertainment.
