A man who police said recently sold fake drugs to an undercover officer faces a felony charge.
The officer was working in Pioneer Park on Dec. 4 when he told the 26-year-old man he wanted $20 worth of cocaine, according to charges filed Monday in 3rd District Court.
The man gave the officer a twist of what appeared to be cocaine and took the officer's money, charges state. The man was arrested a short time later. It was later discovered that the man had given the officer a piece of plastic twisted around another piece of plastic.
