Alex Creed (Readers' Forum, Dec. 3) insinuated same-sex marriage goes against nature or is unnatural. I ask what is "nature" and what is "natural"? One definition states nature "is the sum total of the forces at work throughout the universe." Natural is being of nature. I like these definitions because they are broad and can describe how I feel what nature is. I believe nature is everything around us, including us. Everything in the universe is natural. It would not exist if it were not. Thus gay marriage is as natural as hetero marriage.
