Salt Lake City police and its SWAT team raided a smoke shop in a drug investigation.
Police said narcotics investigators were conducting an investigation and served a warrant on "Da Hood Smoke Shop" at 1255 W. 400 South on Wednesday.
"Items seized included 16 grams of crack and 1 gram cocaine along with $500 cash," police said in a statement Thursday. A 41-year-old man and a 30-year-old woman were booked into the Salt Lake County Jail on investigation of drug possession with the intent to distribute. A 3-year-old child was taken into protective custody, police said.
