Utah Utes basketball: Utes whip Ducks in Huntsman Center

The Utah basketball team won its fifth straight game with a 95-81 victory over Oregon Wednesday night at the Huntsman Center.

Tyler Kepkay and Shawn Green came off the bench to lead the Utes in scoring with 23 and 21 points, respectively. Luke Nevill had his fourth double-double of the year with 18 points and 10 rebounds, while Luka Drca dished out a season-high 9 assists. Lawrence Borha added 11 points.

The Utes (5-1) shot 58.2 percent from the field and 52.2 percent from 3-point range. They outrebounded the Ducks (3-3) 41 to 23.

Utah jumped out to a 54-42 halftime lead and led by as many as 19 points in the second half.

Freshman guard Garrett Sim had an outstanding game for the Ducks with 28 points after coming into the game averaging 8.0 ppg.
