The removal of CFC propellant from asthma inhalers — mandated by the Food and Drug Administration — illustrates the extent to which insane environmental policies have infiltrated every aspect of our lives. In order to eliminate a few molecules of inert gas from the global atmosphere, the environmentalists are willing to compromise the effectiveness of the medicine and cause the cost to skyrocket.
One day, when the hosts of humanity have graduated to embrace rational thought, they will look back on this epoch with the same incredulity as do we when pondering the Aztecs' ripping the beating hearts out of a million suffering souls to ensure renewal of the dwindling winter sun.
