A Holladay man who police say fired nine gunshots at his wife outside their home in November is scheduled to appear in 3rd District Court Tuesday.
Randolph Taylor Carley, 58, faces a second-degree felony charge of attempted murder from the Nov. 15 incident.
One of the nine shots fired that night struck the man's wife in the knee and another grazed her side.
Another man who heard the shots and witnessed the woman on the ground screaming, "He shot me!" was able to remove the gun and detain Carley until police arrived.
Carley is in the Salt Lake County Jail with bail set $150,000. Ethan Thomas
