A 6-year-old southern Utah boy died Saturday after the ATV he was riding on flipped over.
Utah Highway Patrol Lt. Steve Winward said Sunday that Jubal White was a passenger on a four-wheel ATV being driven by a 10-year-old girl on private property near Beaver Saturday afternoon. Winward said accident investigators report the girl may have accidentally driven forward when trying to reverse, driving into and partway up a chain-link fence, causing the vehicle to flip. The girl, who has not been identified, managed to jump clear, but the boy was caught underneath the vehicle.
