Point guard Deron Williams will play tonight, when the Jazz host New Jersey in the back half of a back-to-back set.

Williams, who has played in just four of the Jazz's 17 games this season due to a sprained left ankle sustained in the preseason, had said on Friday that he was "50-50" to be available for the second game of the set.

Word late Saturday, though, is that he will go.

Even just more than an hour before gametime, though, Jazz coach Jerry Sloan still wasn't sure just how many minutes Williams would be able to log.

"That's up to him," Sloan said when asked just how much he'll have to monitor Williams tonight. "I talked to him when we played (Friday) night; he let me know where he could play.

"I don't know if he'll ... play the whole deal, or what."

Meanwhile, as expected, two-time All-Star power forward Carlos Boozer (strained left quadriceps tendon) will be among the Jazz's injured absentees.

Boozer will be missing his sixth straight game.
