As a cherry on top, Miles capped the quarter with a steal and a layup to put the Jazz ahead 94-67 with a second remaining after leaving the locker room deadlocked at 50-all.

While the defense pleased the coach and the team, Miles admitted it was a blast to be involved in the offensive fireworks show.

"When you get the easy baskets you're bound to have fun," the 21-year-old said. "When you can dunk the ball, it's just like playing in high school and summer league again. ... Everybody's having fun. Everybody's running the floor."

Williams believes Miles' "confidence" is soaring as high as his teammate did after that wicked dunk, too.

"We know what C.J. can do. He's done it in practice for three years now," Williams said. "It's a matter of getting playing time, and he's made the most of it, and he's playing well offensively, defensively.

"He's bringing a lot of energy to this team."
