PROVO Police are investigating a bizarre death on I-15 in Utah County.
The incident took place about 3:15 a.m. Friday near the Provo Towne Center Mall.
"We got reports of a pedestrian on the freeway," Utah Highway Patrol trooper Cameron Roden said Friday. "Then right after that we had a report that a semi hit him."
By the time police got there, the man was dead. Police are working to identify him and to figure out why he was crossing the interstate in the first place. A portion of I-15 was closed while the investigation was being conducted.
