OGDEN Police are looking for a trio of robbers in an early morning home invasion.
It happened about 3:30 a.m. Wednesday at a home at 2842 Adams Ave. Police said the couple inside were awake and the woman inside watched through a security camera as three armed, masked men rushed up toward the home.
"They kick in the back door, run up the stairs and scuffle with (the victim) on the stairs. He gets whacked in the head with the shotgun," Ogden Police Lt. Scott Sangberg said Wednesday.
The woman was forced to open a safe where police said the men took some money and some Social Security cards belonging to the family. The men fled the home. The man inside the home suffered a cut to his head but was otherwise OK, police said.
Despite the men being masked, Sangberg said detectives do have some people in mind.
"They were able to give us some information," he said.
