Utah Grizzlies fall to Victoria, 4-2

WEST VALLEY CITY — The Victoria Salmon Kings defeated the Utah Grizzlies 4-2 Wednesday night at the E Center.

Utah took a 1-0 lead on a five-on-three power-play goal 14:11 into the game on Tom May's fifth goal of the year. Vladimir Nikiforov and Andy Sertich picked up the assists.

Victoria came back to a 2-1 lead in the second before Utah tied it up at 10:11 of the period with Nikiforov setting up Tim Verbeek.

The Salmon Kings then pulled away by scoring the final two goals of the game.
