Afterthoughts

Change we are still waiting for. About the only new faces in the Obama campaign will be the ones having had plastic surgery.

No surprise about Hillary Clinton being secretary of state. She and Barack Obama made a deal last summer. It was part of their prenup, so to speak.

Janet Napolitano will head the Department of Homeland Security. Good choice — Arizona being virtually free of illegal immigrants.

Another fresh face — Bill Richardson is vetted for secretary of commerce. The vetting revealed the fact that secretary of commerce is the only government job left that Richardson hasn't held.

Then there is Tom Daschle for secretary of health and human services. With all these retreads, let's call it the Goodyear Cabinet.
