It did kick in over the first four minutes of the second half then the Utes scored nine straight points on two hooks by Nevill, a layup by Borha, a drive by Luka Drca and a free throw by Carlon Brown.
Then after a basket by the Bears' Kevin Thompson, Utah ran off 11 straight points, including five by Tyler Kepkay and four by Tillie, to push the lead to 46-20 with 12:02 left.
Morgan State was led by Thompson's 14 points, but had no one else with more than six. For the game, the Bears shot an abysmal 28.3 percent from the field and were 0-for-10 from 3-point range.
"We didn't play well, but I'm not taking anything away from them at all," said Morgan State coach Todd Bozeman. "I thought in the second half we let it get away from us." We've never had a game where we didn't make 3s. I thought we had some open looks, but that's how it goes."
The Utes return home today and will get ready for another trip this week at Missouri State on Friday. Their next home game is Dec. 3 against Oregon.
