MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Though shorthanded again, the Utah Jazz did something tonight that they failed to do in New York or Charlotte.

They actually beat a subpar team that they were supposed to beat on the road.

Mehmet Okur poured in a season-high 23 points, including four 3-pointers, and Ronnie Brewer also had a season-best 21 points as the Jazz snapped their four-game road losing streak by beating the Memphis Grizzlies, 103-94.

The Jazz, who play again Monday at home against the Chicago Bulls, improved to 9-5. Memphis dropped to 4-9 after allowing the Jazz to go on a game-clinching 12-0 run to open the fourth quarter.

Andrei Kirilenko also had a solid all-around performance, scoring nine points and dishing out nine assists to go with six rebounds, four steals and a blocked shot.

Utah played the second night in a row without Carlos Boozer (quad), Deron Williams (ankle), Kyle Korver (wrist) and Jarron Collins (elbow).

The win was a complete turnaround from Friday night's contest for the Jazz, who lost at San Antonio 119-94.

The victory also improved Utah's road record to 3-5 this season. The Jazz are 6-0 at EnergySolutions Arena, where they play four times next week
