Mohamed Daffalla Kabor, 19, has been convicted of blasting a gun from the car he was traveling in on I-15 last year, killing Luis Trujillo, 17, a passenger in another car.
A jury on Wednesday returned guilty verdicts on all counts against Kabor: murder, a first-degree felony; obstruction of justice, a second-degree felony; and three counts of discharging a firearm from a vehicle, all third-degree felonies.
Kabor is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 23 before 3rd District Judge Judith Atherton.
A co-defendant in the case, Samuel Paul Krokaugger, was sentenced last month to several lengthy prison terms in connection with this crime and two others. Krokaugger pleaded guilty as part of a complex plea bargain.
