ROY Police here have arrested a 29-year-old man accused of downloading child pornography.
Investigators with the Utah Attorney General's Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force were looking into the illegal downloading of pornography on a file-sharing network, police said, and referred the case to Roy police.
Police arrested the man on investigation of 10 counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, a second-degree felony.
"He was downloading and possessing child pornography, which he retrieved from a file-sharing network," Roy police detective Matthew Gwynn said Thursday.
The man was being held in the Weber County Jail in lieu of $100,000 bail.
