Utah Jazz: Price's nice as the only point guard

Price said listening to his coach's advice to pick up the pace against the spent Bucks, who lost in Denver on Tuesday night, was a key to the second-half surge.
"Coach Sloan made a conscious effort in trying to get us to pick it up, push the ball up the court and try to make some plays on defense," he said, "and guys stepped up and made plays."
Price capped the Jazz's momentum-changing 7-0 run in the third quarter with a strong inside bucket, and then he busted loose for 10 points in the decisive fourth quarter.
"Ronnie Price was outstanding on both ends," Miles said.
Almost fittingly, Price took a pass after a steal by Kirilenko and put an exclamation mark on the win with a dunk in the closing seconds.
Price smiled and said he wasn't trying to make a statement or attempting to tie his career-high scoring mark.
"I was just trying to get away from them fouling us," he said. "I thought I saw guys on my back. I was just trying to hurry up and get in the air before I got fouled again."
