A Holladay man has been charged with attempted murder after he fired nine gunshots at his wife outside their home Saturday.
Police say Randolph Taylor Carley, 58, fired the shots at his wife — one of the shots struck her in the knee and another grazed her side.
Another man who heard the shots and witnessed the woman on the ground screaming, "He shot me!" was able to remove the gun and detain Carley until police arrived.
