The Utah basketball team bounced back from a shocking opening loss Saturday with a 79-60 victory over Wisconsin-Green Bay Tuesday night at the Huntsman Center.
Luke Nevill recorded his second double-double in two games and the 20th of his career with 20 points and 14 rebounds. Luka Drca scored a career-high 16 points and passed out six assists, while Carlon Brown had 13 points, including a pair of spectacular dunks. Lawrence Borha added 12 points, while Kim Tillie had eight points and 10 rebounds before fouling out.
The Utes led 34-33 at halftime, but broke it open early in the second half when Nevill scored 10 straight Utah points to put the Utes up 46-40. The lead got as high as 17 at 75-58.
The game was part of the Glenn Wilkes Classic, an exempt tournament in which the Utes will play two games this weekend against Mississippi Friday night and Morgan State Saturday.
