Utah Jazz: Instead of walking tall, Jazz are walking wounded

Here's the latest medical update from the M*A*S*H unit that masquerades as the Utah Jazz basketball team — or is it vice-versa? — from this morning's practice at Zions Bank Basketball Center:

• Mehmet Okur, according to a Jazz spokesperson, is feeling "better" but he is still not a "full go yet." Okur's back stiffened up on his return trip from Turkey on Sunday, when he returned from visiting his ailing father.

Okur didn't play in the Jazz's 109-97 win over the Phoenix Suns on Monday night, and he will be a gametime decision for Wednesday night's game at EnergySolutions Arena against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Okur participated in pre-practice shooting drills this morning.

• Deron Williams is practicing today but also remains a "gametime decision," according to the team, as he tries to recover from his left ankle sprain.

• Brevin Knight, who left the Jazz game with a groin injury Monday, was being held out of practice and is also a game-time decision. He is listed as having a strained left abductor muscle.

• Jarron Collins was planning on participating in noncontact drills today. His inflamed right elbow, which was wrapped during Monday's game, and his availability for Wednesday's game will be evaluated after today's practice.

• Matt Harpring is being listed as "probable" for the Bucks game. He played almost 12 minutes against the Suns after sitting out Saturday night's game while he rehabs his ankle.
