Today on TV
Pushing Daisies (7 p.m., Ch. 4): Ned tries to help a magician whose animal assistants are being killed.
Monarchy: The Royal Family at Work (7 p.m., Ch. 7): Prime minister Tony Blair and his wife spend the weekend at the queen's Scottish estate; the queen attends a football (soccer) match.
Bones (7 p.m., Ch. 13): On a flight to China, Booth and Brennan are called on to solve a murder when a passenger is found cooked in the microwave.
NBA (7 p.m., FSN): Bucks at Jazz
Gary Unmarried (7:30 p.m., Ch. 2): Gary and Allison pretend they are still married.
Criminal Minds (8 p.m., Ch. 2): The team tries to solve a case in reverse when a confessed serial killer sends them on a manhunt.
Private Practice (8 p.m., Ch. 4): Two pregnant women don't know they're married to the same man.
Life (8 p.m., Ch. 5): A dead teacher dated only cops.
Dirty Sexy Money (9:02 p.m., Ch. 4): Letitia runs down a young bicyclist, who comes back to the mansion to recover.
Law & Order (9 p.m., Ch. 5): It's the big polygamy episode. Titled Lost Boys, it's about a murder involving young men thrown out of a polygamist church and a child-bride of the cult's leader. There's some misinformation about The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in some of the characters' lines, but other characters do a decent job of correcting that misinformation. And the script doesn't treat a tough issue as if there are easy answers. There are, however, some references that faithful members of the LDS Church will find offensive.
