Aces complete sweep of Grizzlies in Alaska

The Alaska Aces defeated the Utah Grizzlies 8-4 Sunday night.

Trailing 3-0 entering the second period, Utah's Dennis Packard added his first of two goals on the night as Utah cut the deficit to two 3:26 into the period.

James Sixsmith scored 42 seconds into the third period to make the game 6-2 on his fourth of the year. Trailing 7-2, Utah added two quick goals spanning 1:36 from Vladimir Nikiforov and another one from Packard to make the score 7-4 late in the third.

The Aces also won 4-1 late Saturday night, as they completed a three-game sweep of Utah.
