What a wonderful thing to be members of a worldwide church where individuals share common gospel values and yet enjoy rich cultural diversity. This past month we had a delightful cultural experience at our home in Orem, Utah. My son served a mission in Papeete, Tahiti.Sure, I know what you're thinking: "Wow! Tough mission"--but remember, somebody's got to do it. To my mind it was a perfect fit for this son. Although, as with any mission, there were tough times he loved the mission and loved the people.
