PLAYER OF THE GAME: Austin Collie

He caught seven passes for 130 yards and scored a pair of second-half touchdowns, including a 45-yard game-clincher.

PLAY OF THE GAME

The Cougars had just recaptured the lead, 17-14, when freshman Blake Morgan caused a fumble, which BYU's Spencer Hadley recovered. The Cougars scored three plays later to go up 24-14.

KEY CALL

With 4:54 remaining in the game, Collie caught a 14-yard pass near the Air Force sideline. Officials ruled it a catch, but the play was reviewed in the booth to ensure he was in-bounds. The ruling on the field was upheld. One play later, Max Hall threw a 45-yard TD pass to Collie to seal the win.

QUOTABLE

"I think any of the turnovers or any of the swings in field position certainly had a role (in the win), but that allowed us some breathing room."
