DRAPER The Utah Department of Transportation is hosting an open house tonight for public input on existing and potential bicycle corridors that connect communities throughout the state.
The meeting is from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Draper City Hall, 1020 E. Pioneer Road, inside the city council chambers.
UDOT is preparing a statewide Bicycle Corridor Priority Plan, which will assess current bike accommodations and a methodology for improving bicycle corridors. A brief introduction to the Bicycle Corridor Priority Plan is at 5 p.m. Attendees then can visit three display stations with project background and opportunities for commenting on existing and potential bicycle corridors, as well as prioritization factors that UDOT will use to evaluate bicycle corridors.
